FASTEST MALAYSIAN @TOKYO MARATHON 2019

Honoured to be the fastest Malaysian 🇲🇾 at #TokyoMarathon2019 🇯🇵yesterday.
Hard work paid off! 💯 Happy to finish my first Abbott World Marathon Majorsin a tough weather condition. 6 °C with drizzling rain and strong wind on certain part during the race. With the strong support from my coach coming here and all the prayers from family and friends, I keep reminding myself to be strong and believe the dream once I thought was impossible, breaking my personal best by 15 minutes and achieving BQ time of 2:57 at my 20th marathon! It was totally mind over the body yesterday 🙏

Do you know what keeps me going until the Finishing Line? I could have given up earlier, when I’m no longer feel strong. But this heart says NO.

This event is too big and too good for me, to let it just slip away. .
.
If I told people 10 years ago, that I would have this CRAZY dream, they would have laughed. But I glad I did it. Dengan sokongan orang-orang penting di belakang saya, they keeps me going.
